In what will come as a shock to many fans, Kelly Brook is actually a stage name that the actress took when she started modeling at the age of 16. Her real name is Kelly Ann Parsons, which remains her legal name to this day.
Her agent reportedly urged her to change her real name because there was already a model named Kelly Parsons at the time.
2) Kelly Brook had a troubled upbringing that affected her deeply

Brook did not have an ordinary childhood. She revealed that her parents used to get drunk and have loud and violent fights often, resulting in cops being called.
In one extreme case, her father started throwing furniture around the house, which deeply traumatized the young Kelly Parsons.

Once, when they were much younger, Kelly and her friend tried to shoplift. They were caught and taken to the police station, where the officer overheard Kelly saying that the police would never arrest them for a first-time offense. To teach them a lesson, the officer put them in a cell and made them spend some time there.
Kelly had another brush-in with the law during the shooting of Pirhanna 3D when officers drew guns at her when she tried approaching a police vehicle in an allegedly provoking manner. She was ultimately able to explain to the police that they were just actors and finally managed to get away with just a warning.
